West Loves East Radio is a project that stems from healing.  In 2017 everyone involved with WLER lost a son, husband, cousin and Brother.

He passed after complications stemming from a tragic accident.  He was only 27.

We had choice let grief overtake us, or overcome grief.  We decided to overcome and celebrate the music that helped us survive when we had to travel to care for him.  Without, groups like BTS, One Ok Rock, EXO, Miyavi 2ne1, SHINee and Big Bang our hour drives would have been miserable.

We decided to honor Jaymz and k-pop/j-rock by creating a radio station committed to exposing the USA to this amazing music.  Years later, we are strong, proud and celebrating life everyday.

The Badger - Host & GM

Just a simple gal who has worked off and on in Seattle radio/music scene since the 90's.  Mom an Auntie to many, and proud to say that at half of 100 I am  still listening to music and finding my way in this crazy world.  Proud grad of University of Washington.  Go Dawgs! Love K-drama, Brit-coms, Anime and of course always on the lookout for new Asian artists of all genres.

Know someone? Let me know!!

                    Kyah Grace - Co-Host

She's the eccentric weirdo who dyes her hair way too much. Creative, and imaginative, she makes some of the art for the station, and is the one who drew the WLER frog! She tends to speak her mind, and has basically no filter, so, you never know what she might say!

Jack Buddy -  Co-Host

He is the guy who loves Power Rangers, video games and Banana Twinkies.  Anime is his thing NW but doesn't really like coffee.
